The HPVDT was very busy this weekend, shaping the male mold. They are going to use the same construction technique as last year, with a layup over a male form, then digging out the foam.

The team was busy on Friday with a Sikorsky attempt on Friday. Unfortunately, the copter crashed after having momentarily reached about three meters. There was very heavy damage to the aircraft. I was very impressed at how the team reacted to this setback with grace and equanimity. The bike part of the team was back at work the next morning in the shop.
