We have been lucky to have access to the Civic Center for the whole week, not only for our meetings, but also as a place for people to work on their bikes. It takes a bit away from the usual activity in the parking lot of the Super 8, but it is a clean, well lit space where people can work into the night. There is even a kitchen.
The evening runs were all into a stiff headwind, so no legal runs. Alex and Trefor made it exciting by coming into the traps at the same time. It would have made for a great picture, but we were a little busy making sure we got times for both bikes.
One issue that is being carefully monitored is the 15 meter rule at start, where a bike cannot be assisted for more than 15 m from start. Chris noted that only about half of tonight’s runs had legal starts.
Update: Dave Larrington has more details on the individual runs here.
