A cyclist was killed last Sunday night, on Lakeshore Rd. at Colborne Lodge, an intersection that I have been through many times, both with and without family.

The good people at Bike Pirates and the Bike Joint led a small group down to the lakefront.
The ghost bike arrives at High Park.
There was already a small shrine with flowers laid at the foot of a tree near the intersection. The victim was 28. There was a friend there by happenstance, and he said that the victim was on a late night ride to blow off some steam after a successful theatre performance that night in Hamilton.
Biking in a Big City
