Bells on Bloor was wonderful this year. The weather was spectacular.
Here is part of the crowd gathering at High Park.
Clay and Paper Theatre performed at the start of the ride. Joe Mihevc said some nice words at the start of the ride. It is ironic that the ride took place the same week that City Hall seems to be moving towards killing, or deferring consideration of bike lanes on Bloor.
Notes to myself for next year.
departure from High Park: 12:20
last arrivals at Queen’s Park: 1:30
left Queen’s Park at about 1:45
less than an hour to get back to High Park.
Kudos to the Police Service. The officers were all very efficient at controlling car cross traffic, and were also very courteous.
Thanks to Hamish, Angela, and Peter for all their hard work. Thanks to the volunteer ride marshalls, Clay and Paper Theatre, and Sweet Pete’s for handing out bells at the start.
Thanks to Tooker for providing great weather.
