Bike Ride Vigil for Jenna Morrison
November 14, 2011 by jnyyz
At the start. A huge crowd, with media present.
Going down Harbord St. I will probably never see this many cyclists on Harbord ever again.
I really appreciated the parents who brought their kids out.
Particularly this family with a trail a bike.
Going down College and up to Dundas and Sterling.
At Dundas and Sterling.
Peggy Nash advocating for MP Olivia Chow’s private member’s bill about side guards on trucks.
Jenna’s mom showed incredible poise in coming out, addressing the crowd, and urging us to ride safely.
The ghost bike.
The crowd starts to disperse. Ironically, with this may cyclists about, I’ve never felt safer at this particular intersection.
