As I’ve said before, one of the best accessories that you can get for the xtracycle is the kickback centerstand. It makes the bike much more stable than a regular kickstand when loading and unloading precious cargo.
The kickback has height adjustable legs. However, mine corroded and seized within the first few months of ownership. [As a side note, it is a good idea to apply a light coat of grease on any steel / aluminum inteface on the free radical, just as you would treat a seatpost.] As a result, when the plastic feet wore down, the kickstand legs were a tad short. Granted you can get spare feet for the stand, but I have found a simpler and cheaper solution: plastic end caps for furniture at the hardware store.
The 7/8″ size fits perfectly.
The vinyl type are fairly hard wearing.
I’ve also tried the softer rubber tips with the wider base, but they don’t work as well as since they grip the road more, and have a tendency to come off when putting the kickstand up or down.
