Just a couple more pictures from the testing at Ford over the weekend.
Bluenose sounds fast!
The team: Mike Mowett (our host), Marc, Calvin, Trefor, Cameron, Alan, Oleksiy and Simon. Four of us had already left on Friday night, and Todd took off Saturday for a secret mission.
There was the opportunity for more seat time for everyone over the weekend. Mike set a personal best for 50 miles in Norus on Saturday. Sunday was a bit windier, so the speeds were a little lower.
Bluenose is now clearly faster than Vortex and so everyone going to Battle Mountain now wants to ride it rather than Vortex. The vertical stabilizer helped stability in crosswinds. The final roster of riders has not been set yet, but it looks like the team will bring just the two faster bikes.
Once again, a big thanks to Ford, and to Mike Mowett for making the arrangements for this week of testing.
110kph i hear in the video? If the ford track is ad sealevel, that’s a new world record… Time to get some 200m timing traps set up?
