BM2013: Wednesday PM results

All afternoon, the civic center was the usual hive of activity. Sven showed up with a Rotator Super 7.
It has slick cable actuated steering, and a 13′ turning circle.

U of T is busy patching up Bluenose after it went off the road yesterday.
They’ve decided to go back to the tires they used at Ford.
Here they are putting cardboard guards on Vortex for some parking lot training.

Then it was time to go out to the course. It was light rain in town, and the skies did not look good. Here we are waiting out the weather at catch.
Al announces that all runs are off, and so the U of T team decides to climb the knoll in the background.
Unfortunately for them, shortly afterwards, the skies started clearing, and Al changed his mind, and so we hurriedly set up timing. Ironically, the wind conditions were great, and many personal bests were set. Here are the provisional results.

Note that one of the preceding paragraphs was fictional. Also note that Ming Garden is a decent restaurant, unexpectedly better than you might expect in the middle of the Nevada desert.
